Got a last minute Magic the Gathering Player you need to shop for? MTG singles are always a good thing to give as either a stocking stuffer or as an insert into a christmas card.
One of the cards all green mages seem to be clamorring for is the Scute Mob . It may seem innocent as a one drop 1/1 but as soon as you have five or more lands it gains 4/4 each turn. In the right deck this could be a huge monster in no time and many a green mage have been taking out other standard cards to include a playset of these in their main deck!
White mages cant live without an airforce on angels and this one literally will bomb your oponnant until they glow like a christmas light (so much for peace on earth). The Baneslayer Angel has it all. 5/5 flying, first strike, lifelink, protection from demons and protection from dragons. Not 100% like Akroma but its not legendary so you can pack 4 in a deck and play them all plus in type 2 its really hard to get rid of.
Sideboard are important and this card is appearing in many deck sideboards this card is showing up this tournament season.The Archive Trap allows you to pay ZERO MANA when your opponant searched there deck and toss the top 13 cards into their graveyard. Since it goes on the stack, your spell happens first in response so you could nail what they are searching for right off the bat! Even if they dont search their library, the cost of 5 mana to mill 13 off their deck is still a good trade off as you can eliminate atleast 1/3 of their remaining deck if they are playing a tight 60 card deck. If you got a millstone deck, get in line and get this in your deck today!
Another side board card that people ask for and we sell alot of is the Pithing Needle . This is an extremely popular card that we try to always have one for sale when we can get one. This is a perfect sideboard card as it shuts down the activated ability of a card of your choosing.

This weeks top 25 auctions are an ecletic mix but Magic The Gathering has rushed back up to the top after being absent for a few weeks. Leading the pack is the archive trap which is earning a spot in many sideboards and even a few main decks in tournament play. At number two, another sideboard card has made a resurgence lately and that is the pithing needle. Rounding out the top three is the latest addition into green agro decks, the Scute Mob (cute when small but gets big later on!) Also adding to the fray are many holo foil variants of magic cards from older sets that people are eyeing to fill holes in their collections.
Bella Sara makes many splashes into the top 25 including many looks at Mythology series as people in the united states are now collecting this UK series thanks to it being included in the new Bella Sara tins. While on the subject of Bella Sara tins, the two promo cards Nisqually and Chitimacha are still selling fast and well and relatively inexpensively (most of mine lately have been finishing their bids at $1 or less!). There are also many other rares and tickets being watched and alot show up in the top 100 auctions (to see more than on this list, go to our Bella Sara store site for more details!)
Very little sports seemed to enter the top 25 but they are prevalent in the top 100. However in the top 25 there is a sleeper card which someone will surely snatch up. The 2009 Score Josh Freman 1999 Variant Rookie Card (RC) will rise in the next few years as this rookie proves himself.

These are some of the bomb cards that MAgic players have been clamoring about. Perfect as a stocking stuffer as these are found in most MTG players decks who compete seriously.
First card is the Scute Mob. It may seem innocent as a one drop 1/1 but as soon as you have five or more lands it gains 4/4 each turn. In the right deck this could be a huge monster in no time and many a green mage have been taking out other standard cards to include a playset of these in their main deck!
Secondly we are offering the Pithing Needle again. This is an extremely popular card that we try to always have one for sale when we can get one. This is a perfect sideboard card as it shuts down the activated ability of a card of your choosing.
The key to magic is speed and the third card, Misty Rainforest , is a charm! This land can be sacraficed when it is in play to search for either an Island or a Forest. So playing one of these on turn one you can get the land you need and at the same time eliminate a chance of drawing a land in future draws.
The next card literally is the bomb for white players, the Baneslayer Angel . This creature has it all. 5/5 flying, first strike, lifelink, protection from demons and protection from dragons. Top 25 Sports and Wrestling Auctions on Ebay by Ion Enterprises

The NBA is hitting hard and heavy into the top spots this week. This is primarily to do with Upper Deck and Topps losing out on the NBA contract so people are snatching up what they can for their collections. The best specimen which is as we speak still in expensive is the Michael Jordan Masterpieces insert which is a short print and will definately grab all investors and Jordan fans alike!
NFL fans wax nostalgic (SP) with both the 1999 Score Retro rookie cards as well as the UD Rookie Exclusive College to Pros insert series including the Peyton Manning card (these are getting hot with the Indianapolis Colts being undefeated!)
WWE and UFC are still hanging tuff in this catagory and have even strangled (I know UGH! bad pun) their way past several big name MLB cards.
Look for short sell outs of 2009 Baseball as people are scrambling to complete their sets before the 2010 Topps comes out.
Last news, DONRUSS IS BACK IN BASEBALL! Granted its college and draft pick stuff as the idiots of the MLBPA gave Topps exclusive rights to baseball (welcome back to the 1980s when they were there and ruined free choice!) but with their ability to produce cards simular to the 2007 Extra Elite which we all loved and proved that the MLBPA doesnt know what the fans want and only care about who is giving them cash! I hate to say it but these single company licenses are ruining the joy of collecting for both myself and my customers and all these player associations say they are doing whats best for the collectors without being the collectors themselves. Hockey went downhill, basketball is sliding down it next (I love Donruss products but they really are driving it down with the Panini release - bad card stock, cheesy pictures, few decent inserts and too high priced for what was suppposed to be an inexpensive product!) and baseball will soon follow. Remember how starting in 1999 collecting started to get exciting, there was something for everyone and all companies competed for the marketplace and offered good product and pricing from 2000-2008? well unless we get vocal and tell these idiots to butt out the golden renasance (sp) of card collecting is over!)

All gamers, especially players of Magic the Gathering, love to get cards for special occassions and I am not talking about Hallmark cards either. I have a ton of cards going up in the next few days as well as quite a few inexpensive ones currently in the store. Tomarrow you can look forward to a Baneslayer but for today I believe we should start with the standard Birds of Paradise. Almost sounds like a partridge in a pear tree but so much nicer and any MTG player would grab this card and slot it into their multi color deck. What beatdown wouldn't be complete without a Darksteel Collosus? This card has it all, comes back from the dead but better yet, its almost impossible to destroy it in the first place! Be a pain in someone's neck with the Pithing needle! This card shuts down thos decks which rely on abilities to compensate for a lack of spells. We have more foils being sold at this time than most people have foil tinsil on their trees including some promos and nice playable cards! Finally we have both our repacks and our playsets available for those who want maximum bang for their buck!
