Once again corporate greed hits. I didnt complain when auctiva originally said they were going to a pay service, after all, I was willing to pay a little more for the convience. However they are doing more than nickel and diming and kicked me when I was already getting up from being put down on the ground by higher Ebay fees. I can understand $25/month fee for heavy user, I could even understand paying 1.75% on each complete transaction. Where they kick you when you are down is you get charged by the meg for picture storage for your ads and it isnt cheap. on average it was going to cost me $20+ per month in picture storage alone! the only other choice was to store the pictures on Ebay and only list 1 pic for free and 15 cents each additional. Since I rarely use more than one picture, its cheaper for me to use Ebay and just pay .15 for any additional picture. And since I will need to keep half my stuff on ebay and will lose hundreds of stored picture and listings, I might as well go to ebay and do it all through their Turbo lister program. After all, Why should I pay $40 per month on top of Ebay when I can pay the same. It just wont be pretty, there will be no fancy animations or background, pretty bland and basic but unlike GM and Citibank, rather than sacrifice service to my customers and raise their costs, I would much rather work harder, tighten the belt and get it done. I have been here before when I first came to auctiva and you know what, getting knocked down sucks but if you can get back up and come back twice as hard, things will be ok. I most likely will not have a couple of hundred auctions for awhile on ebay but give me a few months and I WILL BE BACK!
